Our collection “vintage coin jewellery” comes from working with vintage mexican coins minted throughout the\u00a0 XX century.I created my first necklace using an old tradition of the women in my family: knitting.<\/p>

In Mexico I met amazing artisans who had been expressing their craftsmanship and artistry weaving hammocks. We worked with them to rescue and use different weaving techniques, using threads made here in yucatan to string hammocks. Our pieces invoke the desire to have a symbolic image of Mexican culture close to the heart: through the traditional weaving techniques passed on generations, i try to honor and show my respect for Mexico, as the place which has received and hosted me with love, without detaching myself from the influences of my life in Argentina and Latin America<\/p>

Daniela Bustos Maya is proud to be a socially responsible brand. The brand was born inspired by the beauty of Mexico and is rooted in Yucatan. We generate jobs in the community by providing job opportunities to artisans from the state, providing a fair and ethical payment, which promotes economic flow in different communities. In the same way, we promote the \u00a0use of techniques passed down from generation to generation, achieving in this way an avant-garde design, based on a rich ancestral culture, creating pieces that have not only material value, but sentimental as well, via the\u00a0 juxtaposition of Argentinian and Mexican cultures in each of the pieces. All the materials used in Daniela Bustos Maya are made in Mexico, by Mexican hands.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Nuestra colecci\u00f3n “joyer\u00eda de monedas vintage” viene por trabajar con las monedas mexicanas acu\u00f1adas durante el siglo XX. Cre\u00e9 mi primer collar utilizando una vieja tradici\u00f3n de las mujeres de mi familia: el tejido.<\/p>

En M\u00e9xico me encontr\u00e9 con incre\u00edbles artistas que expresan su artesan\u00eda tejiendo hamacas. Trabajamos con ellas para rescatar y utilizar diferentes t\u00e9cnicas de tejido, utilizando hilos creados aqu\u00ed en Yucat\u00e1n para hamacas. Nuestras piezas invocan el deseo de tener una imagen simb\u00f3lica de la cultura mexicana cerca del coraz\u00f3n: a trav\u00e9s de las tradicionales t\u00e9cnicas de tejido que se han heredado por generaciones. Trato de honrar y mostrar mi respeto por M\u00e9xico, como el lugar que me ha recibido y acompa\u00f1ado con amor, sin desligarme de las influencias de mi vida en Argentina y Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>

Daniela Bustos Maya se enorgullece de ser una marca socialmente responsable. La marca nace inspirada en las bellezas de M\u00e9xico y se arraiga en Yucat\u00e1n. Generamos empleos en la comunidad brindando oportunidades de trabajo a artesanas del estado, brindando un pago justo y \u00e9tico, lo que promueve flujo econ\u00f3mico en diferentes comunidades. De igual forma, promovemos las t\u00e9cnicas heredades de generaci\u00f3n en generaci\u00f3n, logrando de esta manera un dise\u00f1o vanguardista, basado en una rica cultura ancestral, creando piezas que tengan un valor no solo material sino sentimental al yuxtaponerse la cultura argentina y mexicana en cada una de las piezas.
