Ila Ceramica emerged from a process of inner inquiry where ceramics became a space for presence, silence, touch and patience. Camila discovered the shapes that inhabit her in an organic and intuitive manner, leading her to continuous research and development of material, processes, and also herself.<\/p>

\u00a0What began as a silent personal journey, has turned into a place where poetry, nature and\u00a0 corporeal silhouettes meet as constant themes in Ila\u00b4s creative process. The conversations between the pottery wheel and manual construction derive into utilitarian and sculptural pieces, hosted in two main lines of work: \u201cCentrifuga\u201d: functional ware for everyday life, and \u201cManual\u201d: sculptural pieces that, while still functional, highlight their presence and their own dialogue with space, a constant theme for reflection in Ila.<\/p>

\u00a0Ila Ceramica is a small studio with 100% handcrafted creative processes; glaze and clay research is slow and thorough and after a recent growth, Ila now incorporates casts as well as manual coiling and wheel throwing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Ila Cer\u00e1mica surge como resultado de una b\u00fasqueda personal en la que la cer\u00e1mica se devel\u00f3 como un espacio para la presencia profunda, el silencio, el tacto y la paciencia. A trav\u00e9s de este material, Camila encontr\u00f3 la posibilidad de descubrir sus formas internas de manera org\u00e1nica e intuitiva, lo que ha dado pie a un proceso de investigaci\u00f3n y desarrollo tanto en el material y sus procesos, como en su persona.<\/p>

As\u00ed, lo que comenz\u00f3 como una b\u00fasqueda personal y silenciosa, se ha convertido en un punto de encuentro para la naturaleza, la poes\u00eda y el cuerpo, temas constantes en los procesos de creaci\u00f3n de Ila.\u00a0 Por medio del torno, de la construcci\u00f3n manual y de conversaci\u00f3n entre ambas t\u00e9cnicas, Ila Cer\u00e1mica crea piezas utilitarias y escult\u00f3ricas que se albergan en las dos l\u00edneas principales de la marca: \u201cCentr\u00edfuga\u201d (piezas utilitarias para la vida cotidiana) y la l\u00ednea \u201cmanual\u201d (piezas escult\u00f3ricas que, sin dejar la utilidad de lado, destacan la presencia de las mismas y su convivencia con el espacio.<\/p>

Ila Cer\u00e1mica es un taller peque\u00f1o con procesos de producci\u00f3n artesanales; la investigaci\u00f3n de esmaltes y pastas es paulatina y minuciosa, y tras la evoluci\u00f3n de la marca, hoy en d\u00eda se utilizan moldes as\u00ed como t\u00e9cnicas completamente manuales.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
