About Zuahaza:<\/strong><\/p>

Zuahaza was founded by Tatiana Ordo\u00f1ez in 2019 in Bogota, Colombia. In 2018, Tatiana made a trip to Charal\u00e1 to learn about the rich history of cotton growing, spinning and weaving in this region. During her trip, she met with Corpolienzo, a cooperative of artisans. They decided to create a new line of textiles, born of the artisans\u2019 extensive knowledge and of Tatiana\u2019s desire to share creative, innovative textiles with the global market.<\/p>

About Tatiana:<\/strong><\/p>

With a background in textiles from the Maryland Institute College of Art and experience in the artisan field across Latin America, Tatiana is the founder and head designer for Zuahaza. Tatiana has worked with different social design brands from the US, Guatemala, and Colombia. She is dedicated to natural materials, such as natural dyes and organic fibers, and is an advocate for sustainable methods of production. Her Colombian roots have always given her a passion for and admiration towards indigenous craftsmanship, and her favorite part of creating is the interchange of knowledge with artisan partners.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Acerca de Zuahaza<\/strong><\/p>

Zuahaza fue fundada por Tatiana Ordo\u00f1ez en el 2019 en Bogot\u00e1, Colombia. En el 2018, Tatiana viaj\u00f3 a Charal\u00e1 para aprender de la rica historia del algod\u00f3n de Santander, su cultivo, el hilado y la artesan\u00eda de la regi\u00f3n. Durante su viaje, se conoci\u00f3 con la cooperativa de artesanas de Corpolienzo. All\u00ed, Tatiana y las artesanas decidieron crear una l\u00ednea de textiles para compartir con el mundo, como el resultado de la colaboraci\u00f3n entre saberes ancestrales y una visi\u00f3n creativa e innovadora.<\/p>

Con estudios de dise\u00f1o textil del Maryland Institute College of Art de Baltimore y la experiencia de trabajar en el sector artesanal en Latinoamerica, Tatiana es la fundadora y directora de dise\u00f1o de Zuahaza. Tatiana ha trabajado con diferentes empresas sociales en Estados Unidos, Guatemala y Colombia. Tambi\u00e9n se ha apasionado por aprender m\u00e9todos y materiales sostenibles para la producci\u00f3n. Sus ra\u00edces colombianas le han dado una pasi\u00f3n y admiraci\u00f3n por la artesan\u00eda de los ind\u00edgenas y su parte favorita de todo el proceso creativo, es el intercambio de saberes con las artesanas con quienes trabaja.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
