Catalina Pati\u00f1o<\/strong> (Manizales 1983)\u2029 Jeweller and Architect. Her main interest is in the relationship between projects of different scales and complexities: a river, a house, a museum, a garden, an object, a jewel. Catalina Pati\u00f1o has an Architecture degree from UPB Architecture Faculty (Colombia, 2006), as well as studies of Architecture for a Complex World from the Universidad de Alicante (Spain, 2007). She studied Jewellery in Eafit Univesity\u00a0 2009-1010 and since 2010 with the Jeweller Helena Aguilar.\u00a0 She was co-founder of Ctrl-G between 2008-2015, and founded CAPA Architecture in 2015 and \u00a0CAPA Jewellery\u00a0 (before Uno de Uno, since 2010)\u00a0<\/p>

Her work as architect has been nominated and in\u00a0 national and International awards. The Medellin Museum of Modern Art, MAMM has been nominated for this year’s prestigious \u201cMies Crown Hall Americas Prize for Emerging Architecture\u201d prize. In 2012 Ctrl-G was awarded the XV prize L\u00e1piz de Acero \u201cProfetas en su tierra\u201d in Colombia as well as an Honorary Mention in the XXIII Colombian Biennale of architecture 2012 for the Pajarito la Aurora\u00a0 kindergarten.\u00a0Her work has been extensively published in magazines such as Mark magazine N\u00b0 38, A+U N\u00b0496, Harvard Design Magazine N\u00b0 34, Architectural Record N\u00b0 03 2012, Arquitectura Viva\u00a0 N\u00b0138, Abitare N\u00b0 514 among others.<\/p>

C\u00c2P\u00c2 jewelry is an artistic creation place in which each piece is design and manufactured by hands of diverse people from Antioquia. Since 2010 we have been fabricating traditionally jewels that are story tellers through colors, forms and textures; and invite you to wear ideas, images and experiences than will be always around the memory.<\/p>

Behind from each jewel we knit a symbiotic relation between individual, community and environment; over de years our work team has incorporated artisans who support our local manufacturing. Catalina Pati\u00f1o<\/strong>: Arquitecta de la Facultad de Arquitectura de la UPB (2006). Especialista en Arquitecturas complejas de la Universidad de Alicante, Espa\u00f1a 2007. Diplomado en actualizaci\u00f3n cr\u00edtica y preparaci\u00f3n investigativa, UPB 2004. Ha sido docente de la universidad Pontificia Bolivariana y de la universidad Eafit en las carreras Arquitectura e Ingenier\u00eda de dise\u00f1o. Fundadora de C\u00c2P\u00c2 Joyer\u00eda y Co fundadora de C\u00c2PA arquitectura.<\/p>

Catalina Pati\u00f1o (CtrlG) en 2012 gana el Premio L\u00e1piz de Acero, edici\u00f3n XV 2012 \u201cProfetas en su tierra\u201d en la categor\u00eda Proyecto Arquitect\u00f3nico. En el mismo a\u00f1o obtiene una menci\u00f3n en la XXIII Bienal Colombiana de Arquitectura en la categor\u00eda Proyecto Arquitect\u00f3nico. Sus proyectos han sido publicados en revistas como Mark, Harvard design magazine, Architectural record, Arquitectura Viva y Abitare. Ha sido conferencista en universidades como CCA, California College of The Arts y en La Universidad de la Salle en Le\u00f3n, Guanajuato<\/p>

Desde el 2010 Catalina esta fabricando artesanalmente joyas que narran sus propias historias a trav\u00e9s de colores, formas y texturas. En el 2015 crea C\u00c2P\u00c2 joyer\u00eda, como un es un espacio de creaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica en el que cada pieza es dise\u00f1ada y manufacturada por manos de diversas personas de Antioquia.<\/p>

Detr\u00e1s de cada joya se teje una relaci\u00f3n simbi\u00f3tica entre individuos, colectividad y medio ambiente; con el pasar de los a\u00f1os nuestro equipo de trabajo ha venido incorporado artesanas y artesanos que apoyan nuestra manufactura local, adem\u00e1s en C\u00c2P\u00c2 trabajamos con materiales y acabados de alta calidad y siempre que nos es posible trabajamos con metales reciclados y piedras preciosas eco amigables.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
