About the designer<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

Ever since a short trip to Italy turned into a love story with fashion, Loraine Holmes knows no limits to her professional achievement and determination. So much so that she decided to pursue a career in the industry. She enrolled into a Fashion Design course at Istituto Marangoni Milano where she began to master Italian craftsmanship over a course of five years.<\/p>

During her final time in Europe, Loraine Holmes landed an internship with Catalan designer Teresa Helbig in Barcelona. After graduating in 2014, she packed her newly acquired skills and valuable experience gained in Italy and moved back to her home country, Chile, and founded her namesake fashion label in 2015.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

With an eye for \u2018Made in Italy\u2019 expertise and a global vision on fashion, her dream was to become a successful designer and to gain significant recognition in her home country. Not long after launching her brand, she successfully positioned herself in the Chilean market and became one of the most appreciated Chilean designers of her generation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Loraine Holmes percibi\u00f3 un espacio donde un estilo cosmopolita y elegante, sofisticado pero divertido, podr\u00eda desarrollarse. Tambi\u00e9n observ\u00f3 algunos cambios que se estaban produciendo en la sociedad chilena: Un creciente deseo a destacar por autenticidad, una re-valoraci\u00f3n del trabajo artesanal y de calidad, y un mayor inter\u00e9s por el mundo de la moda.<\/p>

A partir de all\u00ed florece su marca hom\u00f3nima, buscando rellenar un vac\u00edo en el mercado, con creaciones de\u00a0pr\u00eat-\u00e0-porter simples pero con un twist de dise\u00f1o. Combinando un fuerte sentido est\u00e9tico y un estilo lleno de personalidad y contrastes. Cultivando una femineidad moderna y creativa, que fusiona sus or\u00edgenes latinos a una herencia italiana recaudada tras vivir en Europa.<\/p>

La misi\u00f3n LH es simple:<\/p>

Quisiera persuadir a las mujeres a tomar peque\u00f1os riesgos y a darle la bienvenida a nuevas experiencias creativas; Mostrar que no es necesario una ocasi\u00f3n especial para sentirse fant\u00e1stica, y que el concepto elegante y cl\u00e1sico dejan de ir de la mano, para dar paso a un nuevo estilo donde la elegancia, modernidad, frescura y diversi\u00f3n, pueden convivir armoniosamente.<\/p>

A trav\u00e9s de sus colecciones, Loraine pretende que las mujeres puedan irradiar su belleza interior, puedan sentirse seguras con prendas que se adaptan a todo tipo de cuerpos y demostrar que la moda es, sin duda, un estado de libertad mental.<\/p>

La cercan\u00eda con el arte ha sido relevante en la vida de la disen\u0303adora. Su sensibilidad y b\u00fasqueda constante de la belleza, constituyen el fuerte universo creativo de la marca. Lo que se traduce en la forma de trabajar de su taller, donde cada pieza es ensamblada como una obra de arte y cada pequen\u0303o detalle es cuidadosamente tratado de manera casi artesanal.<\/p>

Loraine no tiene l\u00edmites en su determinaci\u00f3n profesional desde que un breve viaje a Italia se convirti\u00f3 en una historia de amor con la moda. Decidi\u00f3 estudiar en Istituto Marangoni Mil\u00e1n y vivir all\u00ed durante cinco a\u00f1os, para luego realizar sus pr\u00e1cticas con la dise\u00f1adora catalana Teresa Helbig en Barcelona. Despu\u00e9s de graduarse, en 2014, empac\u00f3 las habilidades adquiridas en el viejo continente y regres\u00f3 a su pa\u00eds de origen, Chile, donde fund\u00f3 su marca hom\u00f3nima el 2015.<\/p>
