1\/8 Takamura is an apparel and accessories studio based in Mexico City that firmly believes in the construction of meaning through its designs. Beyond seeing garments as objects in use and disuse, it thinks of them as positive contributions to the way we act and conceive this world.<\/p>\n

1\/8 Takamura’s aesthetic is timeless and considers memory as the aesthetic essence of his creations, which dialogue with garments from Mexico, Japan and in general, the world, always in search of universality. His character is intimately associated with technique and matter. A fundamental interest is in technique because it is materialized in abstractions of form that make visible their own ancestral paths and those of the discipline of fashion itself.<\/p>\n

The matter is also a search that transfers content to their creations, because through it stories are told and contributes positively to its users and the world in which we live. 1\/8 Takamura es un estudio de creaci\u00f3n de indumentaria y accesorios basado en la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico que cree firmemente en la construcci\u00f3n de significado a trav\u00e9s de sus dise\u00f1os. M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de ver a las prendas como objetos en uso y desuso, las piensa como contribuciones positivas a la manera en que actuamos y concebimos este mundo.<\/p>\n

La est\u00e9tica de 1\/8 Takamura es atemporal y considera a la memoria como la esencia est\u00e9tica de sus creaciones, las cuales dialogan con indumentarias de M\u00e9xico, Jap\u00f3n y en general, del mundo, siempre en b\u00fasqueda de la universalidad. Su car\u00e1cter est\u00e1 \u00edntimamente asociado a la t\u00e9cnica y la materia. Un inter\u00e9s fundamental est\u00e1 en la t\u00e9cnica porque se materializa en abstracciones de la forma que hacen visibles caminos propios, ancestrales y de la propia disciplina de la moda.<\/p>\n
